Dear friends/neighbors/music-lovers,

Capital City Concerts' final concert of the season, "Magnificent Masterpieces" takes place on Saturday, April 15 at 7:30 PM at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. This will be one of our "tried and true" concerts which will include two beloved masterpieces: Brahms' Clarinet Quintet in B Minor and Mozart's Flute Quartet in D Major, and a lesser known work, but true masterpiece: the rich folk-heritage inspired 5th String Quartet of Mieczysław Weinberg. The 6 terrific performers will be led by violinist Laurie Smukler -a beloved Capital City Concerts musician. I'm certain that our audience will love this concert!
