Wood4Good is Vermont's Largest Wood Bank; we donate free firewood to families who are in need.

We are seeking an Operations Lead role at our Jericho VT location.

The right candidate will have experience running chainsaws and cutting firewood, running log splitters and good skills leading our volunteers. The ideal candidate will have experience running heavy equipment and have good mechanical skills.(would love a mechanic, who is ready for a career change) Why Wood4Good?

This position is crucial to help our families access firewood for warmth, we have helped over 250 families in the last two seasons, we hope to help that many families THIS year.

Help us make that happen by bringing together volunteers and lead work days to help more families who are cold in the winter.

This is a diverse position, including processing firewood, loading trucks, Person must have experience in running chainsaws, an ideal candidate would have heavy equipment experience, and strong mechanical aptitude. It's a fun role, work with diverse volunteer base including the Boy Scouts, local High Schools, many local companies and others.

Work is mostly outside in a beautiful spot!!

You will have a large impact on the community, bring volunteers together, and give back while earning a competitive wage.

We have an immediate need, ideally 35hrs a week, but we are flexible between 20-40 hrs. a week. We will pay a good wage for the right person!! Position is year round.
