Until there's a cure for T1D (Type 1 diabetes), our mission is to empower people of all ages affected by this disease to live life in full. We strive to broaden awareness, educate and advocate on behalf of T1Ders and their families. https://www.slamt1d.org/

Our backyard tournaments are played with a big time vibe connecting communities while broadening T1D awareness and public involvement to accelerate and improve T1D education; connect the T1D community; raise funds for SLAMT1D programs and scholarships; support other T1D organizations with grants; help children with T1D to attend camps and participate in sports activities and programs; and promote and support activities and sports programs for student-athletes and adults with T1D.
