The Williston/Richmond Rotary Club is a proud part of this community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members who believe that great things happen when dedicated minds come together.

We are community members representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world.

Our club offers opportunities for our members — and those interested in making a difference — to get involved. Through meetings, social events, and volunteer projects, our members learn about the issues facing our community and communities all over the
world, partnering with local, national, and global experts to exchange ideas about potential solutions and to draw up action plans to respond. Along with these opportunities to serve, members also are able to regularly network, resulting in lifelong friendships and
business connections.

Becoming a member enables you to meet other caring and active people in our community and to make an impact both here and around the world. We invite you to visit our club and find out more about us and the opportunities we offer to get involved.

Our members have found that it's a truly rewarding —and fun — experience.

Please email us for information on how you can join or to visit a meeting.

This open-mic storytelling event promises to be fun and inspiring for storytellers and audience members alike. Participants prepare a five-minute true personal story around the theme of hope: What have you achieved by not giving up? When has someone helped you to see what's possible? When have you looked for hope but struggled to keep going? When did you get what you hoped for and wished that you hadn't? How have you inspired someone to pursue something better? Funny, sad, moving, life-changing--share your take on hope in your life. A panel of local judges will select the evening's winner.

The event honors Bill Skiff, the founder of the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club, a retired longtime educator and consummate storyteller. Bill will be attending the event and will share a short personal story of his own.

$20 ticket includes refreshments. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. - Storytelling begins at 5:00 p.m.
