The Planetary Art Institute at Camp Meade is hosting an evening art workshop this Saturday 3/9 from 5:30-6:30pm, Botanical Paints for Adults. Led by STEAM teaching artist Rachel Mirus, this workshop is a hands-on exploration of the ancient practice of making art using paints sourced from plants. We'll meet a few plant materials that can be used as paint by making our own, then together we'll experiment with making art from our fresh selection of colors. Materials will be provided and light refreshments will be served. Participants are welcome to bring a beverage of choice to enjoy during the workshop. Advance registration required.
