Lake Champlain Maritime Museum is a free seasonal museum on the shores of Lake Champlain with camps, expeditions, hands-on activities, boat building, rowing, archaeology, and more. Exhibits and the museum store are open from May–October each year, admission is always free, and programs run year-round.

Calling all educators of the Champlain Valley! Join us for a free day just for teachers to bring family and friends to enjoy exclusive access to Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.

You'll be able to check out our popular school visit activities, experience hands-on programs, and look into our exhibits. Activities include sampling our popular field trips, exhibit renovation feedback, canoe outings, tips for how to engage students in the upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, and more.... read more ▼

Lunch is included for all registered Teacher Day participants.

Teacher Day isn't just free, we're also giving $200 stipends to 25 teachers! You must register in advance and attend to be eligible. The first 25 eligible teachers who check in at Teacher Day will receive a $200 stipend check at the event.
