Are you wondering why everyone is talking about yoga and meditation? Have you been curious to try it? This introductory series is perfect for beginners. Experience yoga and meditation for the first time or delve a little deeper to create and expand your own practice. Class is limited to 10 students.

Your own yoga and meditation practice is perfect for improving quality of life by planting seeds for:

Inner tranquility
Mental clarity and focus
Emotional stability
Physical strength and flexibility
Recovery from injury and trauma
Breaking old habits and patterns

Students will be introduced to a variety of yogic practices including physical postures, breathwork and meditation as well as enjoy introductions into other limbs of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the guiding principals of yoga. The final class is devoted to helping students create a personalized yoga and meditation home practice. Students will gain Mindfulness meditation skills and yogic practices to: manage stress and anxiety more successfully, begin to investigate the wide variety of yoga styles available, feel more secure and comfortable practicing in a class setting, be able to understand and create their own posture adjustments and variations, become more comfortable in their bodies, learn how to find their own boundaries and limitations and move beyond them, investigate habitual patterning, set intentions for a future successful practice, and become more open and welcoming to themselves and the world around them.
