Wed Sept 16 7pm at Town Hall
If you question the ethics of the two largest political parties in Vermont resolving the State's budget gap by cutting $125 a month in food stamps to families of disabled parents and children on Reach Up then you might be a Progressive. http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/politics/2015/09/08/disability-family-cash-ass[...]20/
If you believe that Vermont's laws and policies to address climate change are insufficient and that the fract gas pipeline, less than a half mile from Charlotte's southeast corner will actually contribute to and not mitigate the introduction of detrimental green house gases into the atmosphere then you too might be a Progressive.
Come help build a Charlotte Progressive Town Committee. We will have a short get meeting next Wednesday evening at 7 PM in the Town Hall in order to form a town committee and discuss progressive issues that have local, state and national importance.
