Neighbors - Do you have questions about how alleged crime is handled in our judicial system and local restorative justice organization? Are you wondering why a large new women's jail is being constructed? Are you seeking information about our local up-tick in property theft, or the new configuration of our police force? The Richmond community is invited to meet and ask questions of Sarah George, our State's Attorney; Jayna Ahsaf, the Director of the National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls; Cristalee McSweeney, the Director of the Williston Community Justice Center; and Richmond's Chief of Police Anthony Cambridge.
The event will be on Wednesday, January 29th from 7-8:00PM at the Richmond Congregational Church. Please join us for conversation and refreshments at 6:30.
Bring your questions for the panel or, if you prefer, send them to Patty Brushett at brushett55@gmavt.net ahead of time. RSVPs welcomed (but not required) for snack planning.
This event is sponsored by Richmond Racial Equity. The Zoom link will be posted on our website and is included below. Save the Date!
