The Buffum Road is an old Marlboro road, out of use for many years, which ran between Cow Path 40 and Lucier Road. We will do a round trip hike, and it will take approx. 2-2 1/2 hrs. The level of difficulty is moderate rough woods walking (logs, stream washouts, etc.) with one more difficult steep uphill/ downhill- walking sticks might come in handy for some. Bug repellant, sturdy shoes, long pants (because of ticks) and water are all encouraged. It's a beautiful, quite wild part of town with some interesting historical features, most notably a very nice cellar hole. Please be at the Marlboro Historical Society on South Rd. at 9 sharp!
