Free Workshop: How to Recycle for the Universal Recycling Law

Under Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law, glass, plastic, metal and paper & cardboard are all banned from the landfill starting this July 1. Beginning July 1, 2020, all food scraps will be banned as well. If you are feeling confused about how to comply, consider attending a FREE workshop. Three workshops have been scheduled:

Thursday, June 18 at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center, Hyde Park 5:00 p.m.
Monday, June 29th at the Lanpher Memorial Library, Hyde Park 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 19th at the Varnum Memorial Library, Jeffersonville 10:00 a.m.

This workshop will provide:
1) An explanation of the Universal Recycling Law
2) Recycling Q&A - How do I recycle that?
3) At Home composting options including: Soil Savers, Green Cones, Bokashi, and Worms
4) FREE recycling bins to all attendees
5) And a chance for all attendees to win a Soil Saver Backyard composter
