You and your family and friends are cordially invited to Make Merry and experience Comfort and Joy at the Cambridge Historical Society and Museum's Victorian Christmas on Wednesday, December 18th at 6 pm.
Travel back with us to see how children of the Victorian Era would have waited for you-know-who! Be transported while listening to the harmonies of local acappella singers Ashley Druckenmiller, Ethan McMahon, and Karalina Hastings. Enjoy special treats that might have been served in the day. Marvel at house decorations and learn about songs and traditions from a simpler celebration of Christmas over 100 years ago in our late 19th Century museum house.
The evening's festivities will include house tours, carols, and stories, tasting the sweetness of the holiday, decorating gingerbread people, and creating something special from the era to take home.
We look forward to welcoming you!
The Museum is located at 12 Broad Street, Cambridge, NY. The program will be held on the heated first floor, which is accessible to all. For further information call or text: 518-350-0627, or email: info.cambridge.ny.museum@gmail.com. Suggested donation: $0-$10.
