Dear Community members,
As we move forward in discussions about the future of our schools, we want to remind everyone that we are in this together. While no decisions have been made yet, we are taking everyone's input seriously. We understand that not all voices are at the table, and we urge you to join us on Tuesday, October 1st, from 6:15–9:15 pm. Our hope is to make a decision and have a recommendation for the community. Depending on the recommendation, our local community members will have an opportunity to vote on an additional ballot for school closure on election day, November 5, as required by our articles of agreement.
You can attend in person at Calais Elementary School (321 Lightening Ridge Rd, Plainfield, VT 05667) or virtually via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84935949997?pwd=qLjf1jrrfhAuJPWhfvO0evL8A5Swmg.1.

We know these conversations about school closures are difficult, but this is also about finding ways to grow our learning environments and opportunities for every student. Your voice matters, and we want to hear from as many community members as possible.

Together, we can weave our efforts into a stronger future for all of our children and communities. Thank you for your continued input and participation. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
