The Bicentennial Museum had an amazing summer with many visitors from South Hero as well as tourists from all over the US. We have one more Saturday that we will be open and then starting Sept. 3rd we are closing for a few weeks to allow for some needed maintenance to happen.
At this time we will also will be updating our exhibit for our second "Olden Days Traditional Christmas in South Hero" display during the months of November and December.
Our book called, "South Hero in the Centennial Year: A Carriage Ride Through South Hero in 1876" is a great idea for a Christmas present and we will be sure to have enough copies for purchase starting Nov. 2nd at $40 per book. We also still have copies of Jim Jones' railroad book called: "Vermont's Island Line Revisited," at $35 per book.
The last day this summer to visit the Honeymoon Cabin next to Granny's Attic is this Saturday from 10-1. Hope to see you there!
