Join South Hero Land Trust on January 1st, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Allen Point Access Area for a casual walk along the Island Line Trail as we make our way down to celebrate the New Year on the beautiful Lake Champlain shoreline.

We'll meet at at the Allen Point Access Area parking lot on Martin Rd, by the Local Motion Sign. From there we will walk about 1.2 miles to the "cut" and back, for a total of 2.4 miles. The trail is flat, mostly crushed rock and some packed bare dirt. Expect rain and wind! We're going to channel our inner penguin and embrace the weather, whatever it brings
