Saturday, Aug. 3rd at 6:00 PM, join us at the Capital City Grange Hall for our annual community barbecue dinner! Weather permitting, we'll set up tables and chairs next to the ADA entrance porch, enjoy jazz standards played by the Montpelier Senior Jazz Ensemble and share summertime food! The Grange will provide and grill hot dogs, hamburgers and vegan burgers; we'll also supply buns and condiments--and ice cream & cones!

We encourage everyone to bring a side dish--chips, appetizers, salads, non-alcoholic beverages, or whatever you want to share!

We'll be using some of the Grange's vintage tableware--so no need for disposables!

In case of inclement weather, we'll move the Jazz Ensemble and the eating downstairs to the Grange's Lower Level--which is fully accessible thanks to the wheelchair lift we installed in 2023.

If you've always wondered what that "Grange" thing is, just off Rt. 12, and just south of the I-89 overpass, this is a great time to check it out, and meet some friendly folks as well! If you have questions, please click "email author" below!
