Please join Montpelier author Daniel Hecht, Bear Pond Books, and the North Branch Cafe for a reading and celebration marking publication of Daniel's eighth novel and Montpelier's post-flood resurgence. Come by the cafe this Thursday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. and help prove that, as Jon Gailmor sang, "You can't keep a good town down!"
The free event will include wine and delicious treats in North Branch's tradition, and Bear Pond Books will have copies of the new book for sale. It's an opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors and enjoy some civilization after the chaos. The novel is set in a Central Vermont town suspiciously like Montpelier, and is based on actual events -- discussion will be lively and fun! All are welcome.
