Hey dear Vermont folks and friends! I'm back in town in Montpelier this week and it's so wonderful to be here in this crisp spring weather. Been in New York for a couple of seasons now, and it is a beautiful place to make music, but I'm realizing in the time I was living here in Montpelier during the heights of the pandemic, I never really shared anything I was working on with my wonderful community here. Seems like time to fix that...
Posting on Front Porch Forum to invite you to a concert, this Friday, May 12th at The Wheelhouse in Montpelier. Doors open at 6:30pm and the concert begins at 7:00pm, it will last about an hour. The program will be me, solo, on guitar and fiddle, presenting some fiddle tunes I wrote during the pandemic, and sharing new songs from upcoming musical theater projects AND from my upcoming record. Can't wait to share with you :)
The Wheelhouse is at 150 Main Street in Montpelier, the third Victorian building from the roundabout. The building is gray and has a wrap-around porch with white columns. Please park in the parking lot on the south side of the building and come in the side entrance. Accessibility info: getting to the venue is accessible by ramp or by stairs.
Tickets are $20, or more if you wish! All proceeds will go towards me finishing up the mixing and mastering of my first record that I recorded in Chicago last year!
You can pay via Venmo (Michelle-Rodriguez-42) or cash, at the door. RSVP'ing involves paying by that method or replying to this post/e-mailing me at this.is.michelle.rodriguez@gmail.com to let me know you will pay in cash at the door. Hope to see you there!
Warmly,
Michelle J. Rodriguez
