Join us as Island Arts ends its 2022 concert season with a HUGE book sale weekend! With books well organized by subject, it's time to stock up for Fall reading and gifts, while you support Island Arts and Scholarships for local youth.
More than 1300 books, many new, are arranged for your easy browsing; paperbacks, hard-covers, and beautiful books to display. Fiction, Mysteries, History, Travel, Cooking, Psychology, True Stories, Biographies, and more are organized by subject. There are books in French and even a few in German. Browse at your leisure in the airy space that is the Island Arts Center barn.
Alburgh author Dale D. Brown will be in attendance from 12 noon to 2 PM on both days to sign copies of his books and discuss them with you. A local resident who grew up loving the Vermont outdoors with its lakes, mountains, streams, and fields, he writes about these topics with enthusiasm and skill. A portion of his book sales will be donated to support Island Arts scholarships for local youth. Brown offers three books: "Ramblings of a Curmudgeon," "Who Created God," and "Bass Fishing 101" which has been a best seller to fishermen from the mid-Atlantic to the Northeast.
