The last program of the League of Women Voters of VT Lecture Series will feature William Clark of the Gifford Law Center and Attorney Cabot Teachout, a criminal defense lawyer who will discuss the Garland v. Cargill decision. It will be virtually held Wednesday, March 12 at 7:00pm.
In June 2024, the Court ruled that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives exceeded its statutory authority by issuing a rule that classifies a bump stock as a "machine gun." The discussion will include current legislative action related to VT gun regulations.
