The Waterbury Historical Society invites every one to an afternoon program at St Leo's Hall at St Andrews parish sharing the story of Don Fields and his band "The Pony Boys" as they played on WDEV and traveled all over Vermont providing music and entertainment for thousands of Vermonters in the 1940s and 1950s. There will also be a live performance by fiddlers Ed Lemery and Marty Davis accompanied by Joe Gagnon on the guitar. Pony Boys memorabilia will be displayed along with one of Don's violins. This memorabilia was donated to the Society by the Richard Aylward Family. The program is in St Leo's Hall at 109 South Main Street Waterbury at 1 pm Sat April 30.
