For the Love of Dogs Vermont Raffle

For the Love of Dogs Vermont is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by volunteers. We are a group of like-minded animal advocates who have become the voice for homeless and abandoned dogs. Local businesses, community organizations, and members are the livelihood of FLOD .

Each year, 4 million highly adoptable dogs are killed in this country's "shelters"; 1 dog every 13 seconds. Dogs end up in shelters for many reasons, most often through no fault of their own. Divorce, relocation, medical issues, a new job, a death in the family, inability to provide care—just a few of the many reasons a perfectly wonderful dog is suddenly homeless.

We are fortunate enough to have a "Spend Your Idletyme" event hosted by Idletyme Brewing right here in Stowe, Vermont on 2/11/2025. This amazing restaurant will be donating a percentage of their profits for the entire day of Feb 11, 2025 to For the Love of Dogs Vermont, with an in-person event from 4-8pm. This should be a fun event that really looks to incorporate all members of the community. During this event, we will have a raffle setup with some amazing donations. The best part is that you have an amazing opportunity to pre-order raffle tickets!! All proceeds will be used to transport dogs from down south up north for adoption or foster, food, preventive care, veterinary care, medical bills, and so much more! Through events like this one, we're one step closer to continuing our mission!
