The Waitsfield United Church of Christ Village Meeting House is pleased to present a photography exhibit in remembrance of 9/11 this Saturday, September 11, 2021. The show consists of photographs owned by Alice Evans of Waitsfield, and purchased from the organization "Here is New York." The show will be open to the public for one afternoon, this coming Saturday, September 11 from 1-5 pm. Admission is free.

Here is New York, a democracy of photographs, was an exhibit of images taken by professional and amateur photographs alike during and after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. These images were available to purchase, raising $850,000 for the Children's Aid Society WTC Relief Fund. The exhibit at Waitsfield United Church includes the photograph used as a cover of the NY Times Sunday magazine section the first weekend after September 11.
