Town Meeting time is approaching! All voters are welcome to join in this annual Vermont democratic happening! You can hear from your Middlesex neighbors and town leaders, share ideas, take part in making important decisions, and enjoy dinner with your neighbors afterwards.
When? Tuesday, March 4, 4:30 pm (with ballot voting open 7am-7 pm)
Where? Rumney School, 433 Shady Rill Road
What? Lots of interesting stuff! Check out the meeting agenda ("Warning") at https://middlesexvermont.org
Democracy can make you hungry, and Middlesex's post-town meeting dinner has a long and delicious history. Our dinner will begin right after town meeting (so probably 6:30 or 7-ish), featuring spaghetti with your choice of toppings, green salad, and fresh bread generously donated by Middlesex's own Red Hen Bakery. Vegetarian and gluten-free dinner options available. Thanks to the Middlesex Community Fund, dinner is free for all; any who wish to make a donation will benefit the Community Fund.
Want to help? Extra hands to pitch in with prep, serving or clean-up would be welcome! Please contact Joanne Breidenstein, jobreid57@gmail.com
You're also invited to show off your cooking talents by bringing your favorite treat offering for the dessert potluck!
Ballot voting is used for electing town officers and school-related matters. You can stop by Rumney School anytime on March 4 between 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. to cast your ballot. Early/absentee voting is also available on these articles; contact the Town Clerk for more information (802-223-5915).

Free childcare for ages 5 and up is available for those who reserve by 2/21. For more information, please contact Kimberly Bolduc, Community Connections, 223-7936 x305 or email kbolduc@u32.org. Middlesex never wants the cost of childcare to be a barrier to participating in Town Meeting. If you have kids under age 5 and you need a childcare stipend, please contact Amy Rose, Middlesex Community Fund, 802-249-8473, amy.rose.vt@gmail.com.
