Join us for one of two public meetings regarding Exit 17. The first meeting will be held on May 19, 2014 at 6:00PM in the Community Room of the Milton Municipal Office Building (43 Bombardier Road) and the second on May 27, 2014 at 6:30PM in the Colchester Meeting House (830 Main Street). The two meetings, hosted by the Milton and Colchester Selectboards, will feature the same presentation and are the last public meetings being conducted as part of the Exit 17 Scoping Study.

The Exit 17 Scoping Study (http://www.ccrpcvt.org/exit17) has analyzed the operation and safety of the Interstate 89 Exit 17 interchange and connecting highways. Options have been developed to provide a safe and efficient connection between the interstate and highway systems while also accommodating future travel demand. Possible alternatives have been created with an eye toward improving safety for all users, reducing congestion, and enhancing access to and from the Interstate. The study area includes the Exit 17 interchange and the intersection of US Routes 2 and 7.

The Study is funded by the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) and the Towns of Colchester and Milton. For additional information, please contact Diane at 802-865-1794 or diane@thirdsectorassociates.com.
