We are excited to announce that Burlington's Department of Public Works (DPW) is in the process of updating the 2017 planBTV Walk Bike Plan. Our goal is to create an Action Plan that continues to enhance facilities to promote safe and enjoyable walking, biking, and rolling, thereby providing viable alternatives for trips throughout our City. This updated Action Plan will build on the 2017 plan, incorporating data-driven analyses and robust public engagement to develop a clear, prioritized list of specific projects, programs, and policies that DPW will implement in the coming years. By doing so, we aim to position Burlington well to apply for future federal grants or other funding, advancing our vision for a safer and more inviting walkable and bikeable City.

We need your help to identify areas where it feels unsafe to walk, bike, roll, or drive. Your input is critical to ensuring that our updated plan accurately reflects the needs and concerns of Burlington residents and visitors. Please take a few moments to complete our survey by clicking the link here: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/6e3d619a091a478f85817a03f93fe0be?portalUrl=https://VHB.ma[...]com.

Additionally, we invite you to join us for a public meeting to discuss the plan and gather further community input. The meeting will be held on Monday, October 21st at Contois Auditorium from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Please come share your insights and help us shape the future of transportation in Burlington.

Thank you for your time and valuable input.
