A Little Bit of Everything Sale to benefit Turtle Island Children's Center. Perhaps the better name would be A Whole lot of Everything Sale
Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00-1:00 at 30 N Franklin Street in Montpelier. The sale is RAIN or SHINE (as is both under cover and outside)
There is too much for just one weekend so we have scheduled 17 days.
In June on the the 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th
In July the 10th, 11th, 24th and 25th
In August the 14th, 15th, 28th and 29th
In September the 11th, 12th, 25th and 26th
In October the 2nd will be the final day
The sale of:
Cards and prints: Photographs of animals, plants and marine life by Brian Slopey will support the children's vegetable gardens.
Plants: Cherry tomatoes, Annuals (coleus, zinnias and marigolds) and 250 potted perennials will fund the creation of a fruit orchard.
One More Bite Baked goods: Assorted sweet treats baked by Meg Baird will go to the purchase of nature guides and picture books.
Yardsale items: You name it we'll have it for sale at some point during the summer (books, clothes, housewares, toys, lawn and garden items, doors, cabinets, sports equipment, tools, etc.)
The inventory will change as plants and YARDSALE items are added.
