Green Up Day is next Saturday, May 3. Everyone is encouraged to get out to get some fresh air and help spruce up your street, neighborhood, a nearby park, etc. Bags will be available by Monday afternoon at the town offices, the library and Sunflower Market. Drop off will be Saturday in two places: Town Garage on Guptil Road from 8-4; also at Rodney's Rubbish behind Crossroads Deli morning only 8-Noon.
This year, I've put all of the details online along with a neat new sign up where everyone can see who is planning to clean up and where. So if you plan to go out and clean a certain spot, please take a moment to check it off the list. Go to: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0B4CAEA729A7FB6-green
It's not necessary to sign up. It's just fine to decide Saturday morning to go out and find trash, pick it up, bring it into one of the drop-off locations. Check out the website for some tips on being safe and for details on what the drop-off locations can and cannot accept. Questions? Please shoot me an email. Thanks ahead of time and we hope to see lots of new and familiar faces next Saturday.
