Sometimes there are parts of us that are damaged,
Sometimes there are parts of us that are raw,
Parts of us, that don't look pretty,
That we don't want others to see,
Parts that are crooked or broken...
But it's only when we integrate all of those fragmented parts into a whole,
That we begin to see the real picture,
The one that remembers the storm that broke those branches,
The one that remembers the blue sky that passively created a backdrop for the myriad of clouds that changed & morphed into shapes,
Just as I have,
Through the years,
I may or may not look the same,
But I've grown,
In ways,
I cannot explain,
Some I can't,
Some I won't,
But with the women who share,
