Now Free: Firebox Dinner & Auction Fundraiser

Saturday, April 12th, 5 PM: FIREBOX DINNER/AUCTION at Montpelier Senior Activity Center
• Due to low ticket sales, the event is being CHANGED to a FREE EVENT.
• A more simple chili dinner will be served for free, with suggested donation of $10 adults, $5 children. There will be no appetizers, dessert or cash bar. Meat and Vegetarian chili will be served.
• Montpelier Fire Department history slideshow and stories with Chief Bob Gowans and retired Asst Chief Bob Snetsinger still happening, along with demonstration of a firebox sounding.
• Fire gear will be on hand for kids to try on, and this is definitely a family-friendly event.
• Auction of two fireboxes is being changed to a SILENT AUCTION, which will begin on the night of the event after the audience learns about the fireboxes. Silent Auction will run through Monday, May 19th, with bidding happening at MSAC.
• Firebox postcards/posters will also be on sale at the event.
• Proceeds support MSAC Feast program
