Earth Week Community Cleanup and Gathering

Past event
Apr 27, 2019, 12:30 to 4 PM

Please join Putney Moves this Saturday of "Earth Week" for our first annual Community River Clean Up. Connect with community, clean up our local river and land, and share song, movement, stories, and inspiration of living intentionally on our one magnificent earth.

We will be cleaning up the Connecticut River, and clearing overgrown pathways at the area between our local boat launches. You will be able to choose how much movement you would like to engage in. You will need to be able to get from your parked car to the dock, but beyond that, all ability levels are welcome.

You are welcome at this gathering even if you are unable to to help clean. You can contribute by making art, praying, meditating, singing, reading poetry, offering intentions, taking notes or photographs, and connecting with community members. Folding chairs will be provided for those with limited mobility.
All ages are also welcome! We will have fun activities to engage kids and adults alike with the natural world.
