The Vermont Philharmonic will be presenting its annual Spring Concert Series with Conductor Lou Kosma on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 PM at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph and on Sunday, April 28 at 2 PM at the Barre Opera House. Selections include Delius' The Walk to the Paradise Garden from A Village Romeo and Juliet and Dvořák's Symphony No. 6 in D Major, Op. 60. This spring concert is the last of the classical concerts in our 60th anniversary year. To celebrate, the Philharmonic commissioned a work by Joseph Marcello, and this program features the world premiere of that commission - Romanza: Serenade for Violin & Orchestra with Letitia Quante on violin.
Tickets are $20 adult, $15 seniors and $5 students and are available on-line or at the door. For more information: visit www.vermontphilharmonic.com.
