Join us for this important community conversation about the opioid epidemic, hosted by Mayor Miro Weinberger and the BPD, featuring three national experts: Gil Kerlikowske, "Drug Czar" and head of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol under President Obama; Fred Ryan, nationally recognized leader in small and mid-sized police departments' addiction and recovery initiatives; and Josh Sharfstein, Vice Dean and Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Heath, and co-author of the forthcoming book, The Opioid Epidemic: What Everyone Needs to Know.

The event will include presentations from our national guests, a panel discussion with guests and Mayor Weinberger, and a discussion with local partner's about Burlington's response to the crisis and what is ahead.
