Base Camp Bash at the 18th Annual Smuggs Ice Bash

Welcome to the 2025 Smuggs Ice Bash, Vermont's annual ice climbing festival! The Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School will be hosting a Base Camp Bash on Saturday 1/25 in Jeffersonville VT. There will be guest speakers, gear raffles, food and drinks, and a lot of celebrating the sport of ice climbing. Join us to hear presentations from the Forecast Equipment team as well as mountaineer, guide, and coach Anne Parmenter. New to the sport of climbing? This evening will be a great opportunity to learn more about ice climbing, meet folks who are passionate about the sport, and hear presentations about life, determination, and doing hard things.

There will be a happy hour and vendor village at 4:00pm and presentations will begin at 6:00pm.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
