The 2025 Smuggs Ice Bash, Vermont's annual ice climbing festival is happening next weekend! There will be a kickoff party and drytool comp on Friday 1/24 at Petra Cliffs in Burlington VT: come spectate the amazing climbing feats of the competitors, connect with the local climbing community, and enter to win some swag from our epic raffle. There will be drinks by donation and a live DJ, doors open at 6:00pm and $15 gets you in!
In addition to the Kickoff Party we will be hosting a Base Camp Bash on Saturday 1/25 at the Cambridge Community Center. There will be guest speakers, gear raffles, food and drinks, and a lot of ice climbing stoke. Join us to hear presentations from the Forecast Equipment team as well as mountaineer, guide, and coach Anne Parmenter. There will be a happy hour and vendor village at 4:00pm and presentations will begin at 6:00pm. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
