On Saturday, March 8, 2014, International Women's Day, the City of Burlington will join in the worldwide celebration to honor the women of all nations as mothers, daughters, grandmothers, relatives, friends, and colleagues. Come join this tribute from 1-4pm at City Hall's Contois Auditorium to celebrate and honor the women and girls of our community and to use this International Women's Day to commit ourselves to ensuring the rights of women of all ages to lead secure, creative, healthy, and free lives. The event will reflect our City’s diversity through featured speakers, poignant discussions, and food. All are welcome to attend.
