The 2025 Smuggs Ice Bash, Vermont's annual ice climbing festival is happening next weekend!
There will be a kickoff party and drytool competition on Friday 1/24 at Petra Cliffs in Burlington VT. Come spectate the amazing climbing feats of the competitors, connect with the local climbing community, and enter to win some swag from our epic raffle. It's going to be an unforgettable event—thrilling, intense, and hands-down one of the best ways to spend your evening. Watch as some of the East Coast's strongest climbers put their skills to the test on challenging obstacles including hanging features, stalactites, stein pulls, and more, using nothing but their axes and determination.
There will be drinks by donation and a live DJ, doors open at 6:00pm and $15 gets you in!
