350VT & Earth Matters Vision to Action Forum

Past event
Oct 6, 2018, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Think back to March of this year... The climate justice community in Vermont made big waves when 35 towns passed climate solutions resolutions at Town Meeting Day! In the Shires, 7 towns resoundingly passed this resolution which calls for an end to fossil fuel infrastructure and a complete, fair, and equitable transition to renewables. Now what? It's time to vision together.

Residents, students, workers, farmers, energy committee members, teachers, and parents from towns all across southwestern Vermont will come together to create the town, the state, and the world that they imagine through a process of collective visioning! By creating a broader vision together, residents can devise bold, inclusive plans with action steps that look beyond a few small fixes, toward towns that promote collaboration, energy conservation, equality, a just transition, resilience, and respect for nature and one another.

Please join us in creating a vision for your town! All are welcome!
