Do you have a vision for a sustainable future for your community? All are welcome to attend the Southwestern Vermont Vision to Action Forum at Martha Canfield Library in Arlington on July 28.
The aim of this gathering is to bring climate justice advocates, town leadership, Energy Committee members, and those impacted by climate change together to create town plans that encompass the goals of the Town Meeting Day climate action resolutions and work toward building the future we need and want! More information about the resolution campaign is here: https://350vermont.org/regenerate-new-solutions The towns of Manchester, Dorset, Peru, Arlington, Shaftsbury, Weston and Bennington passed the resolution in March 2018.
This event includes a potluck lunch, so those attending should bring a plate to share (with an ingredients list to accommodate those with allergies)! Other snacks and beverages will also be provided.
