The Cemetery Commission is composed of five members who are responsible for:
the care and management of the burial grounds (in the Town of Essex, outside the Village of Essex Junction only), establishing fees, determining rules and regulations for the use of each cemetery and overseeing the income from the cemetery trust expendable fund with assistance from Town staff. These cemeteries are an integral part of both the history and ongoing life of our residents.
