The Unseen Value of Being a Good Neighbor

TEDxStowe

April 5, 2018

The first TEDxStowe took place on April 5th 2018 at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe. A sell-out audience of 420 listened to speakers from across the state share their experiences and ideas around the theme of Community. Front Porch Forum's co-founder, Michael Wood-Lewis, shared an inspiring talk as he shared what he's learnt about community from nearly 2 decades of running online neighborhood forums. It's not what you'd expect. You don't have to be a good neighbor (although we should all try!), just witnessing neighborliness is enough to build strong communities. Learn more about how the desire to help neighbors connect and build community helped create FPF.
