The Poultney Pub is seeking an individual to join our expanding Front of House team. The ideal candidate will have a hospitable attitude, enthusiasm for guest service, great attention to detail and strong communication skills. The ability to work with composure, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced work environment is essential. Applicants must be reliable and team service oriented.
This position is comprised of both serving and bartending shifts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; learning and retaining menu knowledge, providing exceptional guest service, maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant, plus daily set-up and breakdown of the dining room. We aim to provide friendly, efficient service and make all of our guests feel like well cared for 'regulars'.
To be considered for this position, applicants must:
-Be 18+ and able to acquire a VT DLC certification
-Have Friday and Saturday availability
-Have reliable transportation
This is a full-time, year round position comprised of 4-5 shifts per week. 1+ year(s) experience working in a full service restaurant setting is preferred. Weekday shifts begin between 3-4pm, weekend shifts begin between 11am-4pm. Pay starting at $6.84/hour plus gratuity.
