Piano Lessons with Lotus (Montpelier)

Adult and elderly students welcome, in addition to children ages 6+

I have 20 years experience on piano (started at age 7), a little over a year teaching lessons.
I also have a rich understanding of and intuition for music, with a BA in music from Mount Holyoke College, and a good ear (with perfect pitch). I can make piano arrangements by ear, including for pop music and other non-classical genres, and am happy to break down the theory of your favorite songs and arrange them for you to play.
I'm also happy to work with you on composition. I'm a composer myself, and have been since childhood.
(I'm also google-able, under my legal name, Patricia Bristow-Johnson. An original composition of mine was featured on VPR Classical in 2015.)

Lessons happen at the student's home (or office or studio, or the home/office/studio of whoever is sponsoring them); must be in the Montpelier area, ideally within walking distance of downtown Montpelier. Having a piano or good keyboard (ideally with weighted keys and a pedal) is required.
Sliding scale $40-70 per person per lesson.
