The Calais and East Montpelier Historical will meet at the East Calais Rec. Center on Tue., Oct. 15, with a potluck starting at 6:00, followed with individual business meetings. At approximately 7 Pm, Grady Neill, who lives in South Woodbury, and our own Doug Grout, will give a presentation about the Vt. Civil War Hemlocks. They have been involved with the Hemlocks for many years, and have a wealth of knowledge about the Civil War, and esp. the involvement of a large number of Vermonters. All are welcome, and we encourage children to attend as well.
