This Week at the Hardwick Farmers' Market

Past event
Sep 16, 2016, 3 to 6 PM

Our vendors have some great products showcased for you this week:
Snow Spun will have "Snow Remedy", an all purpose salve, certified organic, recommended by Snow Wakeman herself for problem skin, lip protection, sunburn, frostbite, scars, cracked skin (fingers, heels), sensitive skin. This is a very popular product. Carmela Ram from the Magic Spoon Bakery will be offering a sweet deal: Buy one cinnamon roll or sticky bun and get the second 50% off. Magic Spoon Bakery has also teamed up with New Shelter Coffee to offer you a great deal: for only $5 you get one cup of coffee (hot or cold) and one piece of German Apple Strudel (this is $1 in savings). Cary and Barb Hughes from Pinebrook Farm will have crabapple jelly, apple crisp jam, and apple butter this week! With the nights getting chilly and a potential frost predicted for this Friday morning, Michael Croce from Mystic Morning Farm plans on bringing as much of the summer favorites as possible. So this means: cucumber, beans, summer squash and zucchini. It is time to make pickles, dilly beans, relishes, and freeze produce! Also this week, Wendy Tanner will be doing her last cooking demo, preparing a delicious dinner with dessert using ingredients available here at the market.

Looking ahead: Next week we will have our first annual Apple Festival with foods and activities for adults and children alike. And on the 30th, Bread & Puppet will be back at 4:30 to perform for us.

We are open Fridays through October 14th from 3 - 6 PM and are located at Atkins Field on Granite Street off of Route 15 (by Rite Way Sports). See you there! www.hardwickfarmersmarketvt.com or find us on Facebook!
