There will be lots going on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at Hyde Park Home Day, September 17th, a town fair on Main Street and Commonwealth Avenue in Hyde Park with fun, food, a parade and entertainment.
The emerald ash borer, also known as the Big Bug will march in the Hyde Park Home Day parade again this year. Members of the Lamoille Regional Invasive Insect Preparedness Team (RIIPT) will be street-side showing clips from the Big Bug’s movie debut (actually PSAs.) They will have information and answers to your questions about invasive insects and the RIIPT team.
"Girls Night Out" will be performing from 1 to 3 p.m. Carrie Cook, Nancy MacDowell and Debbie Yacovone will sing some harmonies and many old favorites as well as original tunes. You will be tapping your toes and singing along with this talented and enthusiastic trio.
