Come get cozy, sip some tea, and learn how to embrace the energetics of winter as your personal hibernation season.
Winter is a time for deep rest, reflection, and nourishment. But if we don't quite know how to support our minds and bodies during these harsh elements, these cold/dark/windy days can easily lead to us feeling scattered, stagnant, or sick.
In this workshop you'll learn a variety of Ayurvedic self-care practices, routines, and winter rituals to boost your immunity, ground your nervous system, support better sleep, and connect more deeply with yourself.
This workshop includes:
- An introduction to Ayurveda, a 5,000 year old eastern medicine system and its approach to seasonal living.
-Explanation of the elements of winter and essential practices to stay balanced this season.
-A deep dive into Ayurvedic self-care techniques such as marma point massage, abhyanga (self lymphatic massage), practices to support sinus health, and more.
- Introduction to two breathing exercises to support your nervous system and healthy respiratory functioning.
- Guided journaling, planning sheets, and support to help you integrate these tools and create your own "wintering" rituals at home.
