Barre Town's Fall Bulk Trash Collection is Saturday, September 17 from 8 am to 2 pm. The collection is held at the Department of Public Works Yard (where the buses are parked) at 129 Websterville Road. The service is offered to Barre Town residents who need to dispose of large items from their homes. This is the second collection masonry products (bricks, blocks, concrete), stones and chunks of asphalt will be accepted for recycling.Concrete must be free of any metal. By state law clean lumber (2"x4", 2"x6", 1"x2", for example) now are banned from the landfill. Clean lumber (no hardware, plastic or tarpaper attached) will be accepted for re-use. Please keep masonry, stone, asphalt and clean lumber separate from other debris for easy offloading at their designated area. Clean lumber will be made available for salvaging. Free!
