Hearing loss is the third most prevalent health issue among older adults, affecting some 38 million Americans in all — even one in five teenagers. What is this condition, and what can people do about it?
Mayo Healthcare invites you to attend an educational presentation on this important health issue by audiologist Marcia Dion, of Vermont Audiology, on Tuesday, September 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Mayo’s Residential Care facility in Northfield. Dion will talk about the physical and social impacts of hearing loss, and she will describe some of the available treatments, including hearing aids. There will also be an opportunity for questions.
