There will be a candlelight solidarity vigil Wednesday, September 14 to take a public stand against racism and injustice. Craftsbury residents are invited for dinner at 6:00 p.m. in Dunbar Dining Hall, with the vigil to follow on Craftsbury Common.
Speakers will include Sterling College President Matthew Derr, Reverend Deborah McKinley, and Lieutenant Smith of the Vermont State Police. There will be time for us to sing and to share perspectives—we invite brief testimonies or readings.
We look forward to coming together as a community tomorrow night. We will also provide information about future educational events about dismantling racism and intolerance.
